Warwickshire Road Transport
Warwickshire has numerous sites of interest formerly connected with road transport throughout the county. This page will show some of the remaining locations that can still be identified and some that were once familiar but now demolished. If you have and interesting photo of a suitable site please send it to the society so we can include it. To start off the page there are some photo's of the former Stratford Blue bus garage at the junction of Birmingham Road and Warwick Road, Stratford upon Avon and the now demolished Midland Red Garages at Myton Road and Old Warwick Road, Leamington Spa. The Stratford site is divided with a large model and toy shop in the front half of the premises, formerly the main garage entrance, and a tyre fitting company at the rear, roughly on the site of the former bus wash.
